Although my current school does not use computer assisted learning in a formal way, another school in the same district has used a version of the program identified in the YouTube video below as a remedial/credit recovery approach. This particular program and computer assisted learning in general has many benefits, including instruction that is based on a systematized approach to language acquisition which is British Columbia certified for certain credits. Other benefits of the program include instructive feedback, the ability to present students with multiple learning opportunities and very interactive vocabulary games such as the one at left.
